For this senior position, we are looking for a person who would lead cloud operations with a focus on reliability, performance, security and availability of enterprise cloud services

The work involves providing strategic oversight, guiding operational practices, mentoring technical teams and ensuring that cloud platforms operate efficiently and inline with business and regulatory expectations. Depending on the tasks, the role may also include improving operational processes, driving automation initiatives and shaping long-term cloud operations strategy.

Other responsibilities would include:

·      Lead daily cloud operations to ensure reliability, availability and performance of cloud-based services.

·      Oversee deployments of new and updated cloud services while coordinating closely with development, QA, database teams and external vendors.

·      Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify risks, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.

·      Ensure confidentiality, integrity and compliance with sensitive data (GDPR, PHI, PII) within production environments.

·      Act as a key ITIL process owner by coordinating incidents, problems and changing management activities.

·      Drive strategic initiatives for process optimization, automation and operational excellence.

·      Provide expert-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis and preventive actions for complex technical issues.

·      Maintain and improve technical documentation, knowledge bases and operational procedures.

·      Support adherence to SLAs/SLOs through proactive monitoring and reliability-focused practices.

·      Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance cloud operations and support business growth.

·      Mentor and guide technical teams, promoting best practices and fostering collaborative work across global engineering groups.

·      Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (ISO27001/17/18, ISO22301, MDR).

·      Contribute to CI/CD process improvements and support Azure DevOps-based workflows.

·      Prepare KPI dashboards, executive-level reporting and data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

We are looking for a person with the following experience:

·      Excellent communication and stake holder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

·      Proven leadership experience with the ability to collaborate and mentor in global, cross-functional environments.

·      Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect technical capabilities to business value.

·      Knowledge of Linux, OS administration, networking, databases, virtualization, containerized applications and APIs.

·      Deep hands-on experience with Azure services including App Services, App Gateways, Key Vaults, Functions, PostgreSQL, VNETs, Log Analytics and App Insights.

·      Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines, particularly Azure DevOps.

·      Solid understanding of ITIL practices and incident/problem/change management processes.

·      Fluency in English (spoken and written)
